Day 1 - Looking for lots of leisure time at the Grand Canyon? Then this is the Arizona tour for you! Begin with a fully-narrated tour of the Sonoran Desert
on the way to your first stop of the day -- Sedona's colorful Red Rock country. You'll have time in
Sedona for a coffee break and a chance to get some photos of this spectacular area before continuing up Oak Creek
Canyon. Next, visit the
Navajo Indian Reservation, with a stop at the historic
Cameron Trading Post
to shop for
Native American
jewelry and art.
Next, drink in
the boundless
wonders of the
Grand Canyon
from our
favorite
overlooks along
the rim drive
and take a short
nature walk at
your leisure.
Stops will be
made along the
canyon's east
and south rims.
Overnight in
Flagstaff
Day 2 -
Have a leisurely
breakfast before
meeting your
guide for a
journey across
the Navajo
Reservation.
Your destination
is the
Colorado River
where you'll
board rafts for
a scenic
float trip. Towering
sandstone
cliffs, ancient
petroglyphs and
a tasty picnic
lunch make this
a fantastic day.
Return to
Flagstaff to
meet your driver
for the trip
back to Phoenix.
You'll arrive
about 8:30 pm.
