one-day Grand Canyon trip including the historic
Grand Canyon Railway is an Open Road exclusive! Depart early morning for a trip through the
Sonoran Desert on the way to
Williams, Arizona. Situated on historic Route 66, Williams is the departure point for the Grand Canyon Railway. This historic and scenic trip includes views of broad plains and mountains along the way. You’ll arrive at
Grand Canyon approximately noon and have time to enjoy the breathtaking views and lunch (on own.) Later, we’ll take you by bus to
Mather Viewpoint
for photo opportunities and to learn about the history and geology of Grand Canyon. Return to Phoenix approximately 7:30 p.m.
